DALLAS, Dec. 16, 2014 – Paul Puri, executive vice president and principal at Capital Alliance Corp. (www.cadallas.com), a global mid-market investment banking firm, has been named by the Dallas Business Journal to its 2014 list of ‘Who’s Who in Energy.’ The list includes top executives representing finance, exploration, production, distribution, engineering, advocacy/education/training, law, service companies and more.
“This honor is really the result of years of trustworthy transaction advice that Paul has provided to energy services, manufacturing and engineering companies,” said Ed Dawson, chairman and CEO of Capital Alliance. “Over the last decade, Paul has advised many business owners and major investors on complex merger and acquisition transactions in the energy industry. His in-depth industry knowledge has been invaluable to many different companies.”
Among his many achievements, Puri recently negotiated the $350 million sale of Enerflow Industries, the second largest manufacturer of hydraulic fracturing equipment, to National Oilwell Varco (NYSE:NOV). He also negotiated the sale of Midfield Supply Ltd. to Red Man Pipe & Supply, making it a $6 billion company (NYSE:MRC). He has degrees from Cornell and SMU, and he heads M&A International’s Energy Industry Group, a multinational group of energy investment bankers located in 42 countries.
