Capital Alliance CEO named VP of the Americas for M&A International, Inc.

DALLAS, Dec. 21, 2015 – Bryan Livingston, managing director and CEO of Capital Alliance Corp. (www.cadallas.com), has been named vice president of the Americas for M&A International.

Livingston was elected to the position by the other member firms of M&A International, the world’s leading alliance of boutique M&A firms, of which Capital Alliance Corp. (CAC) is a member. He will serve a two-year term.

In his new role, Livingston will encourage business development between M&A International members in the Western Hemisphere, leading and supporting collaboration on cross-border M&A transactions. He’ll also promote best practices in deal-making among M&A International member firms.

As vice president of the Americas, he’ll focus on Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central America and South America, where M&A International has 16 members and 22 offices. The group also has vice presidents who oversee Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

“The VP positions exist to coordinate and promote shared opportunities in the parts of the world where members have similar interests, because they are geographically close — raising the likelihood of cross-border opportunities,” Livingston said.

Capital Alliance has been active in the Americas and earlier this year, expanded its operation to El Paso. It has recently completed M&A deals in both Mexico and Canada.

“Being asked to take on VP Americas responsibility speaks to CAC’s commitment in recent years to develop active and fruitful partnerships with our sister M&A International firms,” Livingston said. CAC believes firms in the M&A International alliance — the oldest organization of its type — can work together on deals that span countries to provide exceptional service to its clients.

“M&A International is not just a group of independent M&A firms. It truly is a seamless international organization with more than 650 M&A professionals, based in different parts of the world, who work together on a daily basis to bring opportunities to fruition,” Livingston said.

“It’s an honor to be selected for this responsibility,” he said. “The M&A International organization is on the upswing — we are growing in the number of deals we close in general, and more specifically, in the percentage of cross-border transactions we work on together.”
