Paul Puri is Executive Vice President and Principal of Capital Alliance Corporation in Dallas, Texas. He is also Global Head of M&A International Inc.'s Energy Industry Group, a multinational group of energy investment bankers located in 41 countries. He has over 10 years of experience advising clients in complex M&A transactions that demand his critical analysis and guidance, deep industry relationships, strong negotiating skills, and tenacity to exceed shareholder objectives. He has initiated and closed several substantial and game-changing transactions on behalf of clients that specialize in oilfield pipes, valves, and fittings (PVF) and hydraulic fracturing equipment.
Paul has active projects with clients that specialize in oilfield drilling, fluid handling and chemical treatment, offshore composite tubular manufacturing, and rig equipment manufacturing, He has unlocked over half a billion dollars of liquidity to his North American clients in sell-side transactions.
Prior to joining Capital Alliance, Paul served as Director of Strategic Alliances at NetworkTwo Communications Group, a technology firm focused on the financial sector. Earlier in his career, he held positions in sales, technical execution, and strategic development at Verizon and Cisco Systems.
He has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
- Initiated and negotiated the sale of Enerflow Industries, the second largest manufacturer of hydraulic fracturing equipment, to National Oilwell Varco, a $14 billion revenue firm.
- Initiated and negotiated the sale of Midfield Supply Ltd. to Red Man Pipe & Supply, creating a $1 billion leader, that was subsequently acquired by McJunkin and Goldman Sachs to form $5 billion MRC (NYSE), the largest oilfield PVF distributor worldwide.
