Brad’s M&A practice includes energy, power and related infrastructure companies, in addition to service organizations in staffing, human capital management services, IT consulting and managed services, and third-party logistics services. Brad has developed a strong proficiency in advising a niche segment of Professional Employer Organizations, also known as PEOs, which deliver outsourced payroll, benefits, risk management and human resources compliance services to small businesses.

Prior to joining Capital Alliance, Brad was a senior financial officer for Lomas Financial Corporation, a $6 billion, publicly owned financial and real estate services company, where for many years he was responsible for public financial reporting, internal financial reporting and strategic planning. At Lomas, Brad was also part of the team involved in many acquisitions, dispositions and fund-raisings. Additionally Brad was senior vice president and treasurer of Liberté Investors, an NYSE real estate investment trust (REIT), where he played a lead role in financing activities and banking relationships. He also has served as co-founder and chief financial officer of a private REIT, where he helped raise private equity and credit support in excess of $100 million.

Brad’s four-decade career also includes positions with CIT Financial Services, Advance Mortgage Corporation and Chrysler Motors Corporation. Brad earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Wayne State University. He is a member of the Staffing Industry Association, the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, Professional Administrative Co-Employers (PACE), and The Institute of Management Accountants’ Small Business Council.

The proud father of two young men, one of whom is a college basketball player, Brad remains active in basketball and golf, and maintains the hobby of restoring and driving classic 1960-era muscle cars.

Key Achievements:

  • Successfully initiated and closed more than $300M in mergers, acquisitions, or equity investments since joining Capital Alliance, many in the outsourced services space, including several Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) and Staffing companies.
  • Successfully negotiated the sale of a privately owned PEO entrenched in severe financial and legal trouble, delivering a truly remarkable outcome to its management and shareholders.
  • Successfully negotiated the sale of DigiSource USA, a domestic third-party outsourcing subsidiary of an Irish parent company, which involved significant corporate challenges and tax concerns. The deal originated through a relationship with our Oaklins’ partner in Ireland.
