Paul Puri

Paul Puri manages the Energy Group of M&A International, a multi-national group of energy investment bankers across forty-one countries. In the past several years, Paul’s group has closed energy-related transactions in the fields of equipment and services, oil and gas production, power, refining and infrastructure, renewable energy, and wholesale and retail.

Prior to joining Capital Alliance, Paul served as Director of Strategic Alliances at NetworkTwo Communications Group, a telecom firm focused on the financial sector, where he executed transactions with a number of Fortune 100 Companies. Paul founded Vistec Network Strategies, securing contracts with one of the largest Bell operating companies. Early in his career, he held positions in sales, technical execution, and strategic development at Verizon and Cisco Systems.

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and complemented those studies with an MBA from Southern Methodist University.

Key Achievements

• Represented the shareholders of Midfield Supply, one of the largest suppliers of pipes, valves, and fittings in Western Canada, in a sale that resulted in the creation of a $1 billion company.
• Represented the shareholders of Copstat Security in its sale to Theo Capital, DFW Capital, and Meridien Venture Partners, resulting in a company that later merged with Andrews International, now among the top ten private U.S. security firms.
