Jay Foersterling

Over a twenty-five year career, Jay Foersterling has functioned as the CEO of publicly traded manufacturing businesses and as a strategic advisor to Fortune 500 companies.  Jay has participated in more than a dozen industrial M&A transactions as both a buyer and an advisor, and contributes his extensive experience to the areas of corporate finance, operations, marketing, and sales.

Prior to joining Capital Alliance, Jay was the President and CEO of Integrated Security Systems, a publicly traded global leader in perimeter defensive technologies for government and industry. Previous to ISSI, he served for five years as a divisional president for Roper Industries (NYSE: ROP), a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturing company.  Additionally, Jay has served as a manager at Ernst & Young, an associate in the Consumer Products Practice of A.T. Kearney, and as a senior manager and consulting group leader for RSM McGladrey, focusing on privately held small to mid-sized companies.

Jay holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Affairs from Utah State University, where he also earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing.

Key Achievements

• Represented Roper Industries in a series of M&A transactions, resulting in Roper’s market leadership position in a highly profitable niche scientific instrumentation sector.
• As a President, led a small semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing company to become a leading global player in the market with revenues of $30 million.
• Led the turnaround of a publicly held anti-terrorist physical security technology company through dramatic profitability improvement and a major market expansion into Asia.
