DORMA Holdings GmbH & Co. KgaA’s purchase of Modernfold Holdings, Inc. (the second largest manufacturer of movable walls in the U.S.)

J.B. Poindexter & Company’s purchase of Morgan Corporation (the largest manufacturer of truck bodies in the U.S. – over 15,000 per year)

AES’s acquisition of SeaWest WindPower (one of the pioneers and leaders in wind energy development and operations, for $60 million cash)

Morgenthaler Ventures’ purchase of the Electron Microscope Product Operations of Gatan, Inc. (the world’s largest manufacturer of several proprietary/patented products that prepare, hold, or analyze electron microscope specimens)

Avis’s purchase of Transportation Rentals Corporation (the largest acquisition ever completed by Avis Rent-A-Car)

Vianet Technologies’ (NASDAQ: VNTK) merger with Comm-Services Corporation dba Inter-Tel.Net (global leader in advanced video applications technology)

Armor Holdings’ purchase of Integrated Textile Systems, Inc. (manufacturer of innovative high strength fibers primarily used in vests for ballistic protection)

Red Man Pipe and Supply’s acquisition of Midfield Supply Ltd. (one of the largest suppliers of parts and services to the energy sector in Western Canada, with over 55 locations and 500 employees)

Theo Capital’s acquisition of Copstat Security Inc. (one of the leading security guard companies with over 1500 employees specializing in Class A commercial properties and special events)

Dyson-Kissner-Moran’s purchase of Earnhart, Inc. which owned Superior Motor Coach (the largest manufacturer of funeral coaches in the world)

Applied Cellular Technology’s purchase of Advanced Telecomm (the largest independent retailer of cellular telephones in Washington, DC; Pittsburgh, PA; and several other cities, along with a significant interconnect business)

Maroon Bells Capital Partners’ purchase of a majority interest in GSI TeleCom (one of the only non-AT&T providers of international long distance capacity through trans-Atlantic fiber optic cable)

Finova’s financing of Premium Auto Acceptance Corp. (PAACO) (a specialty retailer of automobiles to the Hispanic market)

Engles Urso Follmer Capital’s purchase of Talton Telecommunications (one of the nation’s largest providers of telephone services used by inmates in prisons)

Inacom’s purchase of USConnect New York (one of the major providers of computer systems integration services to middle market companies in New York City)

Structural and Materials Reliability Technology’s (SMRT) purchase of Structural Integrity, Inc. (a management buyout of a structural engineering service company serving worldwide nuclear power plants)

Siegel-Robert’s purchase of Advantek Inc. (the industry leader in manufacturing carrier tape systems of 8mm and above which are used to hold and transport delicate electronic parts such as surface mount devices)

The Thompson Company’s purchase of The National Motor Club (the second largest con­sumer auto club in the U.S.)

Holding Capital Group’s purchase of Bivouac Industries (the second largest automotive van con­verter in the U.S.)

Valmont Industries’ purchase of SEMCO (the largest manufacturer of oilfield frac tanks in the world)
